Hello! I'm Yoshi
I am a 12-year experienced cardiologist specializing electro-cardiology.
In 2019, I settled in Chicago to start a new life as a postdoc at the department of preventive medicine. Under the COVID-19 pandemic, I struggled for staying here, but decided to be in Chicago for additional year with my family. From 2021, I moved to Center for Arrhythmia Research at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine to improve my clinical research skills in the field of arrhythmias.

I am a cardiologist, specializing in electro-cardiology.
I have seen a bunch of patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases, such as angina, myocardial infarction, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
Throughout my extensive experience as a cardiologist, I got interested in the methods to prevent a progression of cardiovascular diseases.
Research interest
My research interest involves clinical and epidemiological research in the field of arrhythmic disorders, such as atrial fibrillation (AF).
Additionally, I am also interested in the risk management of cardiovascular disease, especially younger generation.

Introduce some of my recent publications at the department of preventive medicine, Northwestern University.
I am involved in clinical or epidemiological researches looking at one of the most common arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation (AF). AF is reportedly associated with increased risk for embolic stroke and heart failure, and the prevalence of AF is increasing under the context of population aging. Therefore, identifying new risks for AF and establishing treatment strategies are crucial to decrease serious complications related to AF.
